Prolog Fulfilment has appointed Holly Trueman to the newly created role of Head of IT & Ops Innovation as the business continues its expansion across UK and international markets.

TAKING UP the position with immediate effect, Holly will lead initiatives focused on driving innovation throughout the company’s operations through the use of advanced technology and AI. Her remit includes supporting faster decision-making processes, reducing the timeframe from stock intake to sale, and enhancing operational efficiency across the fulfilment process.

The role will also see Holly supporting the rollout of new services, expanding automation capabilities, and developing bespoke IT solutions aimed at adding value to Prolog’s growing customer portfolio. Key priorities will include reducing administrative workloads in areas such as stock take processing, alongside leveraging data analysis to deliver insights that improve efficiency and performance.

Holly has been with Prolog Fulfilment for 12 years, initially joining the business in account management before progressing into operations, where she was most recently Head of Operations. In 2024, she completed an MBA focused on IT and Innovation, further strengthening her expertise in digital transformation and operational strategy.

Commenting on the appointment, Neil Daniells, CEO at Prolog Fulfilment, said: “Holly’s appointment reflects our commitment to promoting from within and developing talent. Having been with us for 12 years Holly knows exactly what our business and customers need moving forward and has the passion and drive to help us continue to provide the highest levels of service.”

Holly added: “I have proven experience in both customer service and operations which, combined with my passion for technology, gives me a fairly unique perspective and understanding of where we can best drive innovation and add value for our customers. By using AI and the latest software we can bring in new services quickly and efficiently.”
