Final warehouse at Sheffield industrial and logistics park let
Door manufacturer JELD-WEN UK has snapped up the final warehouse on Phase 2 at PLP Property’s Bessemer Park scheme in Sheffield.

THE COMPANY has taken the 294,463 ft2 Unit 3A facility which boasts 271,072 ft2 of warehouse space as well as 18,245 ft2 of two storey offices, a 4,841 ft2 hub office and separate gatehouse. The warehouse has 18m eaves with 28 dock and four level access doors served by a 55m yard with parking for 41 HGVs
It has 3.74MvA of power available and is also Carbon Net Zero ready, EPC A rated with 10% of the building’s energy coming from on-site low and zero carbon technology sources, including solar PV.
JELD-WEN UK is part of the global group JELD-WEN, which was established over 60 years ago and is the world’s leading door manufacturer. This new facility will allow the company to obtain operational efficiencies in a modern, sustainable base, supporting its continued growth in the UK.
