THE $10 billion USD company which Logistics Matters revealed had secured its debut in the UK with the leasing the 119,252 ft2 MPS11 warehouse facility at Marq Logistics’ 15 million ft2 plus Magna Park Lutterworth scheme in the East Midlands and followed that up with the leasing of Cabot’s circa.87,500 ft2 warehouse in Kingsway, Rochdale in the Northwest, is currently recruiting staff for warehouses in Uxbridge and Dartford.
It is widely believed to have secured Unit DC6A at Prologis’ Prologis Park West London on a short term lease. The property which totals 140,1 ft2 ft2 has been split into two with J&T Express taking some 83,840 ft2 ft2 leaving Unit DC6B totalling 57,801 ft2 available to lease. Built to target BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A+ rating the warehouse has 15m eaves and a 50m yard.
The other London warehouse secured by J&T Express is located on at Logicor’s Logicor Park Dartford MLI scheme on Harris Way, Dartford. The property totals some 5,856 ft2 and has been built to target BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating. Job specifications for warehouse operatives and supervisors in those locations have been shared on TotalJobs and Indeed.
Logistics Matters approached Prologis and leasing agents Savills, DTRE and CBRE regarding the lease at DC6A to J&T Express. All parties have declined to comment. Glenny, SHW and DTRE are joint agents at Logicor Park Dartford.
Yesterday Logistics Matters reported on the letting of DC5B Prologis Park West London to technology-led ecommerce delivery company Relay.
In that press release which mentioned the leasing of DC6A to an unnamed international parcel courier from Asia, Prologis said: “Together, the two transactions reinforce the park’s appeal as one of London’s most strategically connected logistics locations, providing customers with the infrastructure and connectivity needed to support growth and deliver reliable services across the capital and beyond.”
It is believed that all the leases on the properties at Prologis Park West London are held in the short term as the whole facility is currently proceeding through planning for a change of use to a data centre.
