The company has secured new storage and berthing capacity at the Port of Greenock.

THE EXPANSION at the facility, owned by Peel Ports Group, builds on ADM’s existing operations at the port operator’s King George V Dock in Glasgow, and enhances ADM’s import, storage and distribution capabilities while strengthening access to key feed ingredients.

Together, the two locations create a more integrated logistics network on the River Clyde, increasing handling capacity, improving supply chain flexibility and enhancing service for feed customers throughout the region.

ADM’s Jonathan Lane said: “Expanding our footprint from Glasgow to Greenock is an important step for ADM’s operations in the region.

“The additional capacity and logistics capability will help us operate more efficiently, strengthen supply chain resilience and support our customers’ evolving needs across Scotland. Our relationship with Peel Ports Group has been instrumental in supporting ADM Agriculture’s growth in Scotland over recent years.”
