Companies can now buy as well as rent AutoStore through THG
Brands and retailers can choose between buying AutoStore systems outright and renting them as a service, after THG Fulfil expanded its distribution partnership with AutoStore.

THE AGREEMENT gives THG Fulfil, the fulfilment operating system from THG Ingenuity, global distribution rights for the entire AutoStore range under a CapEx ownership model. Its existing Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) offering covers a selected range, including R5 Pro and R5 Pro+ robots. Customers can pick either model or a hybrid of the two without changing distribution and integration partner.
THG Fulfil operates 796 AutoStore robots across its own network and has integrated the system with its proprietary warehouse control system. It recently built an AutoStore system for Footasylum with 85 R5 robots and more than 96,000 bin locations.
Russell Holmes, sales director UK&I at AutoStore, said the expanded partnership would help customers choose the commercial approach that best fits their operational and financial priorities.
