Nearly 16 million ft2 of warehouse space is under offer
Some 15.8 million ft2 of warehouse space in the UK is currently under offer according to the latest statistics from property consultancy DTRE.

LOOKING AT take-up in the year to date circa 22.2 million ft2 of industrial and logistics space in units over 100,000 ft2 has been leased across 90 deals with a further 15.8 million under offer – up from 11.7 million at the half year and 8.5 million at the turn of the year.
According to DTRE’s Head of Research, Data & Insights Rob Taylor there have been 18 deals over 300,000 ft2, 11 deals over 500,000 ft2 with Amazon alone taking 11 units totalling circa.4.4 million ft2 so far this year.
Speculative warehouse development is slowing with 76.5 million ft2 due in the next 12 month against an 11 million ft2 rolling average. Taylor warned: “Expect Grade A rents in supply constrained size bands to keep hardening.”
