EnerSys to demonstrate battery monitoring for fleet operators
Fleet operators can see how real-time battery monitoring could help cut unplanned vehicle downtime when EnerSys demonstrates its ODYSSEY Connect system at Automechanika Dubai.

THE SYSTEM, available with Connect-enabled ODYSSEY batteries, lets users view battery state of charge, state of health, voltage and temperature via Bluetooth on compatible Apple or Android smart devices. With that data, potential problems can be spotted early and dealt with before a battery fault takes a vehicle off the road.
“Earlier visibility of potential battery issues can help operators plan maintenance and reduce the risk of unexpected disruption,” said Sabine Lejeune, sales director EMEA transportation at EnerSys.
ODYSSEY batteries use Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology and are designed for demanding applications, including truck fleets. Built to a military-inspired design, they offer strong cranking power and resistance to shock and vibration. They also operate across temperatures from -40°C to 60°C.
The show runs from 10–12 November 2026 at Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, where EnerSys will be in hall N21 on stand 06129. Specialists will be on hand throughout to discuss specific application requirements.
