Wheelie bin handlers
Contact Attachments has launched three wheelie bin forklift attachments that lift wheelie bins into waste skips without the need for manual labour.
The firm manufactures wheelie bin handlers with
various specifications, including its smaller handlers for wheelie bins
with a capacity of 90-240L, and larger products for handling wheelie
bins with a capacity of 600-1100L. In addition, the tipper is designed
to fit forklift forks up to 145mm wide and 60mm thick.
The two larger handlers have slightly different
specifications, as one is designed for lifting and pivoting the bin
over the edge of a waste skip allowing for gravity to take over; the
other model has a gearbox fitted, allowing the bin to be rotated
forwards for emptying without having to pivot it over the edge to empty
its contents.
