Doha duty free contract
Leading independent supplier of plastic pallets, Goplasticpallets.com, has secured a major contract with Qatar’s largest warehouse equipment company, Rumaillah Warehouse Equipment, to supply durable, long-life plastic pallets for the storage of duty free goods.
Lincolnshire-based HS Marketing, Rumaillah’s primary sourcing agent, obtained a number of pallet samples from different suppliers, but only Goplasticpallets.com was able to match the client’s exact specification with its APB 1210 pool pallet on three runners, which it adapted with the addition of four anti-slip strips.
The first order of 10,000 plastic pallets was shipped in 29 hi-cube containers to Rumaillah in Doha in February, which is currently being stored in over 9000m2 of warehouse, fully fitted with high racking bays.
The pallets will be used to offload duty free items from shipping containers arriving from all over the world and to store the goods in the warehouse’s 11,575-bay racking systems.
