AGV utilises bale clamp
03 March 2023
Tobacco firm JT International Germany is using a driverless transport system to lift three stacked cartons in its warehouse.

THE VEHICLES from ek robotics use T413 bale clamps from KAUP to move the loads.
“In the past, forklifts were used,” says one of the JTI project managers, Johannes Permesang. “But we wanted to have a future-proof design for our internal logistics, and we decided on a solution with an automated guided vehicle system from ek robotics.”
In order to implement the system as required, the manufacturer of innovative, high-performance transport robotics brought the attachment specialist KAUP on board.
