Food wholesaler secures Enfield warehouse

UK food wholesaler Bidfood has taken a 24,000 ft2 warehouse in Enfield, North London.

THE COMPANY has taken a 15 year lease on Urban24 at Enfield Distribution Park which will enable better service for customers in London.

Bidfood has a further 27 depots nationwide recently taking a pre-let on a 60,000 ft2  depot in Worcester from developer Stoford on its Worcester Six scheme in the Midlands, which is due to open in 2025. In November it opened a 160,000 ft2 depot in Bedfordshire to serve the South East of England.

The refurbished facility in Enfield was previously leased to Farmdrop, before the ecommerce company went bust in 2021. The depot boasts 8m eaves, a 35 m yard as well as 21,660 ft2 of warehouse and 2,425 ft2 of office space.
