Online retailer secures Peterborough DC

Online skincare retailer Skin Cupid has taken a 34,500 ft2 warehouse at Chancerygate and Bridges Fund Management’s Bourges View scheme in Peterborough.

THE LONDON-BASED e-commerce platform specialising in Korean and Japanese beauty products has signed a 10-year lease on the facility, which it will use as a new storage and distribution warehouse.
Skin Cupid CEO and founder Melody Yuan, said: “This strategically located facility will enhance our UK distribution network, enabling faster delivery of our curated Asian beauty products both domestically and internationally.
“A key factor in choosing this facility was its sustainability features, such as solar power, which aligns perfectly with Skin Cupid's commitment to responsible growth and the values we share with our community.”
Bourges View is a mixed commercial development comprising nine industrial and warehouse units ranging from 2,800 sq ft to 34,500 sq ft, three drive throughs, a self-storage unit, and nine trade counter units.
The scheme is 75% let by floorspace and there are four trade counter and four industrial units ranging from 2,800 sq ft to 5,350 sq ft available on a leasehold basis which could be combine to create a single unit of 20,000 ft2.
Properties at the scheme benefit from electric vehicle charging points and are constructed from high-performance building materials to reduce CO2 emissions, with some units also featuring solar panels.
Agents JLL and Savills advised Chancerygate on the lease.
