PLP lets Bessemer Park unit to BAE Systems

Developer PLP has let a 96,805 ft2 unit at its Bessemer Park scheme in Sheffield, South Yorkshire to BAE Systems.

THE STATE of the art logistics and industrial facility and will create 50 new jobs for the area.
Known as Unit 5, the facility consists of 86,497 ft2 warehouse space as well as 10,308 ft2 of office space. It has 12.5m eaves, a 56m yard as well as eight dock and two level access doors. It targets BREEAM Very Good and an EPC A rating.
This is the third letting at the development just off Junction 34 of the M1 motorway which is now three quarters let. There is one unit of 294,000 ft2 available.
Knight Frank, CBRE and Moriarty & Co (part of CPP) are joint agents. BAE Systems were represented by Colliers.
