Yale excites at Impact Live

01 November 2024

Hundreds of independent Yale dealer and customer representatives recently came together in Weeze, Germany, for Impact Live 2024.

THE NEW event showcased exciting solutions from Yale Lift Truck Technologies, supported the entrepreneurial EMEA Yale dealer network, and helped guide customers towards the right solutions for outsmarting today’s intralogistics challenges.

“Our network of independent and entrepreneurial dealers are a key pillar of the Yale brand, and we are dedicated to helping them succeed,” explains Robert O’Donoghue, Vice President of Marketing EMEA for Yale Lift Truck Technologies. “For Impact Live, we have invested in a motivational and hands-on training and networking event that will help our valued local dealers to continue to deliver excellent insights, well-matched solutions, and comprehensive support – because that is what their customers rely on.”

The three-day event, which took place at an expansive Yale test centre near the Dutch/German border, included specially constructed ‘application zones’ where Yale technologies were demonstrated in simulated “real-life” environments, including those typical to the retail, beverage, and food industries. Across the first two days, dealers had the chance to participate in training and interactive application demonstrations. For the final day, specially invited customers joined their Yale dealers for a closer look at Yale solutions in action.

In the retail application zone, order picking and operator assist systems were the hot topics, whilst the beverage simulation outlined solutions and strategies to keep up with fast-paced operations. Safety challenges were a focus in the food-themed application zone. Here, one of the key technologies in action was the Yale Reliant operator assist system, designed to reinforce lift truck operating best practices and support operator awareness, which may help to support overall warehouse safety.

Attendees saw the latest warehouse equipment models at the event, such as the MO20-20X order picker pallet truck, MP20-30X platform pallet truck, MRO16-20 outdoor reach truck, and the MSC12 compact pedestrian stacker.

Energy storage specialist EnerSys was the exclusive sponsor of the Impact Live 2024 event, and presented a range of battery and power solutions for Yale equipment fleets to help address different warehouse challenges.

“With Impact Live, we used real application scenarios and product showcases to demonstrate how innovative Yale solutions combined with the expertise of our dealer network can directly address the unique challenges our customers face,” says Rob. “The event epitomises the power of collaboration and technology in delivering smart, efficient, and future-ready warehouse solutions.”
