Rising to unprecedented challenges with robust WMS.

Rising to unprecedented challenges with robust WMS.

Q What is your company’s USP?

A What sets us apart is our ability to combine scale with agility. Operating across a robust network in EMEA, we stand out through our tailored approach to customer needs. Whether supporting a multinational retailer, a regional manufacturer or a 3PL, we deliver solutions that are both operationally sound and strategically aligned with their growth ambitions. At the heart of our offering is SnapFulfil, our WMS product, which is highly scalable, easy to configure, and quick to deploy. SnapFulfil’s intuitive interface, real-time visibility, and seamless integration capabilities allow our clients to optimise operations while maintaining flexibility for future growth. We implement it collaboratively, built on trust, transparency, and measurable outcomes for our clients.

Q What challenges do your customers face and how are you helping them respond?

A Our customers face unprecedented challenges: supply chain volatility, rising costs, and mounting pressure from labour shortages. In response, we focus on building resilience into their operations through flexible warehousing models, predictive analytics, and collaborative planning. For example, our dynamic slotting adapts storage locations in real time based on demand patterns, improving efficiency and enabling customers to respond faster to market shifts.

Q What industry sectors do you target?

A Our portfolio spans a wide range of sectors, including retail, automotive, healthcare, FMCG, and industrial manufacturing. Each sector has unique needs, and we’ve developed specialised capabilities to meet them. In healthcare, for example, we offer temperature- controlled logistics and compliance- driven processes. In automotive, we support just-in-time and just-in- sequence delivery models, critical to maintaining production continuity. We’re also seeing growth in e-commerce and direct-to-consumer operations, which demand a different kind of agility — one that we’re well-positioned to deliver.

Q What trends have you seen in your sector this year?

A This year, several key trends are shaping the logistics sector. First, there’s a strong push toward automation – not just in warehouses, but across the entire supply chain. Second, data has become a strategic asset, with companies investing in platforms that offer end-to-end visibility and predictive insights. Finally, resilience is the new efficiency, as businesses redesign their supply chains to be more adaptable, diversified, and digitally enabled.

Q How important is technology in modern warehousing and logistics?

A Technology is the backbone of modern logistics. We’re integrating robotics and automation in a way that complements human labour, not replaces it. This hybrid model is key to scaling operations while maintaining flexibility. Ultimately, technology enables us to deliver on our promise: faster, smarter, and more sustainable logistics.

CASE STUDY

Agile and configurable WMS delivers for 3PL

As one of the UK’s fastest-growing omni-channel fulfilment specialists, 3P Logistics (3PL) needed a warehouse management system that could scale at the same pace as its expanding operations. Managing over 50,000 active SKUs across multiple UK sites, the company turned to SnapFulfil WMS — a configurable, cloud-based solution delivering the agility, visibility, and control essential for high- performance third-party logistics.

Background

3P Logistics (3PL) provides fully integrated omni-channel fulfilment, excelling across both D2C and B2B operations — including complex vendor-specific requirements. Partnering with fast-growing aspirational retail brands and well- established household names, 3PL has built a strong presence in the health, beauty, and wellbeing sectors. Operating from multiple UK fulfilment centres, supported by a global warehousing network, the company has sustained annual growth of at least 20%. It now serves more than 100 repeat clients and employs over 150 colleagues during peak season.

The Challenge

As one of the UK’s fastest-growing omni-channel fulfilment providers, 3PL manages more than 50,000 active SKUs and around 15 million units of stock — a volume that continues to rise monthly. To support this rapid expansion, 3PL needed a warehouse management system that delivered scalability, stability, and efficiency while eliminating paper-based processes. The ideal solution also had to be highly configurable, API- friendly, and cost-effective, offering functionality tailored to third-party logistics operations. Greater visibility, accuracy, and resource optimisation were key priorities.

Solution and Implementation

3PL selected SnapFulfil WMS for its advanced cloud-based architecture, agility, and flexibility. Working closely with the SnapFulfil onboarding team, 3PL ran comprehensive user acceptance testing across inbound, outbound, and billing processes. This collaborative approach allowed them to identify potential conflicts early and configure the system’s rules to best support their workflows. Implementation took less than six months from contract signing to live transactions, integrating seamlessly with 3PL’s cloud technologies and carrier management platform.

Rising to unprecedented challenges with robust WMS.

Results and Benefits

SnapFulfil’s SPIM (Single Piece Inventory Management) feature proved especially valuable, streamlining single order line processing for multiple products. During peak season, 3PL used SPIM to double operational efficiency for one major business stream. The functionality also aligns with existing rules for stock availability and pick priority, further optimising productivity. Beyond performance gains, SnapFulfil’s cloud-based model provides 3PL with the flexibility and scalability needed to meet growing client demands — all while maintaining cost control and system stability.

Looking Ahead

With SnapFulfil now firmly embedded across its operations, 3PL continues to focus on optimisation and best practice. For example, challenges around data purging have been simplified through a replica database setup. Next steps include leveraging SnapFulfil’s multi-billing functionality for 3PL providers and enhancing customer visibility with a bespoke client portal, offering real-time data access and more granular insights.

Customer Perspective

3PL Managing Director Ian Walker explains: “Stabilising any new WMS is challenging — especially when migrating over 100 clients — but SnapFulfil quickly became a crucial part of our operations. With frequent new releases and security top of mind, SnapFulfil helps us future-proof our business and maintain peace of mind. The scale of opportunity ahead is massive, and we’re excited to keep pushing operational excellence together. The commitment and willingness of SnapFulfil to evolve alongside us have been clear throughout. As our knowledge of SnapFulfil grows, so does our appetite for efficiency — and their support team is perfectly positioned to help us realise that potential.”
