Tackling the impact of uncertainty
The theme for the Warehouse Technology Group event is how investment in business-improving warehouse technology and equipment can help you meet the challenges presented by the current business climate and the growth of e-tailing.
On 14th June 2017 the Warehouse Technology Group will throw open the doors of the Logistics Research and Innovation Centre (LRIC) in Manchester for a one-day event.
The event ‘Decisions, decisions, decisions – achieving effective warehouse efficiency in a world of change and uncertainty’ takes place against the backdrop of LRIC, a unique fully working warehouse.
The centre comprises a 12,000 sq ft unit fitted out by the partners. The equipment is functional, operating and in daily use. Visitors get to see how the technology works in a real world environment.
You can see the programme in the box below.
You will see how the leading-edge products offered by the Warehouse Technology Group partners can help you to manage stock more effectively and improve the overall responsiveness of your operation.
This event – now enjoying its seventh year – offers a unique combination of keynote presentations, live demonstrations, advice clinics and networking for logistics and warehousing professionals. Our MHE partner Toyota Material Handling will be giving the first UK demonstrations of some revolutionary new products including a new HPT, PPT and Reach Truck and also a new budget automation solution.
Handling & Storage Solutions is the media partner for the event.
HSS editor Simon Duddy said: “The Warehouse Technology Group event is an excellent way to examine what you can do in terms of revamping or tweaking your warehouse processes. It is an invitation only event, so attendees have plenty of time to explore options with a range of knowledgable suppliers.”
