EcoCooling

EcoCooling is a UK company set up in 2002 specifically to provide an alternative to air conditioning for cooling industrial premises. Most industrial buildings can be cooled providing 90% energy savings at a fraction of the capital cost of a traditional air conditioning or ventilation system without the use of refrigerants.

EcoCoolers use evaporative cooling to provide up to 35kW of cooling from just 1.5kW of electricity – for less than 14p an hour. That’s less than it costs to boil a kettle!

Evaporative cooling is an energy efficient alternative to air-conditioning which can be used for cooling entire buildings or for spot cooling. It is particularly effective for mezzanines and hot shop floors providing temperatures of at least 10C below the outside ambient temperature.

Predominantly a mechanical ventilation system, cooling is only invoked when required allowing the outside air to be cooled prior to entering the building thus keeping temperatures inside constant.

Installation is simple, requiring just mains water and 240V, in house controls systems can be as sophisticated as required with all systems allowing connectivity to existing BMS systems.

EcoCooling have over 3000 installations in the UK, serving both the industrial and commercial sectors. We also have a fully operational manufacturing site and hold all items in stock, so lead times for spares are never an issue.

Although EcoCoolers are classed as low risk when it comes to legionella, a legionella risk assessment is provided on every installation to ensure peace of mind.

Please contact us should you wish to discuss a cooling project of any sort.

Please note that EcoCoolers do not provide refrigeration.
