Innovative battery charging on display at Robotics and Automation exhibition

07 September 2018

Fronius UK will be exhibiting at Robotics and Automation 2018 for its second year after a hugely successful show last year.

Held at Arena MK, Milton Keynes on 10th & 11th October, the exhibition brings together industry leading robotic and automation companies with technologies that can optimise operation processes.

The Fronius Perfect Charging team, with its innovative Ri charging process, will be there to show visitors how using their technology and battery chargers can save money for forklift fleet owners.

Fronius welcomes warehouse and logistics managers and forklift fleet owners to come and discuss the savings potential when switching their existing forklift battery chargers to intelligent, Fronius Selectiva battery chargers with the “Ri” charging process unique to Fronius. The company guarantees to save money on the energy costs of running your forklifts – by up to a whopping 30%. Its offerings range from the sale of single battery chargers to total system solutions including multiple charging modules and complete charging rooms. Monitoring of the battery charging process can also optimise charging operations and identify battery defects with Fronius’ online visualisation tool, the I-SPoT Viewer.

With its Cool Battery Guide Easy information and management system, Fronius has developed an intelligent solution to dramatically improve the utilisation of traction batteries. A control unit connected to an LED strip on each charger intuitively leads the user to the battery that has been fully charged for the longest and is therefore the coolest, thus increasing the service life of the battery whilst reducing the total operating costs and optimising the performance and availability of your forklift truck fleet at the same time.

To find out how Fronius can help you to dramatically increase the cost effectiveness of your logistics processes visit them at stand 316 of Robotics and Automation 2018 at Arena MK, Milton Keynes on the 10th & 11th October.
