This presentation shares how GXO is applying its mature open innovation approach to early experimentation with agentic AI. Focusing on an outcome based, structured test, learn and scale approach, with responsible learning at the heart of all activities. Examining operational use cases Claire Charlton asks – is there a sausage as well as the sizzle?

Claire is joined by Emile Naus (Partner, Bearing Point) who will delve into AI in warehouse operations, sorting out the hype from the reality.

Since ChatGPT went public in 2023, it launched the biggest hype in the history of technology. The reality is more nuanced. AI didn’t start in 2023, but has been used to improve warehouse operations for many years. And it doesn’t fix all problems. This session will discuss what has been done and what is working as well as some things that don’t work.

It will also look forward to the likely impacts in the future. How will AI continue to drive improvements in operations, and why it won’t replace people, but will change how those people work.

The session finishes with a discussion panel with the presenters, plus a speaker from Infios, one of the companies driving the rise of the intelligent supply chain.

… So rock up with your operational questions and get experts to answer them.

The event is a great opportunity to network and learn as warehouse transformation continues to be a key priority for many companies, large and small, up and down the land.

Entry, food and parking are all free.
