Amazon raises Irish warehouse starting pay to €17.10 an hour
Amazon is increasing minimum starting pay for frontline operations staff in Ireland to €17.10 an hour from 27 September and is recruiting more than 200 workers at its Dublin sites.

THE €0.65 an hour rise applies to full-time, part-time and fixed-term roles at its fulfilment centre in Baldonnel and its two Dublin distribution centres. Starting pay has risen by about 27% since 2022, when it was €13.50, and is now €2.95 an hour above the National Minimum Wage and €1.70 above the Living Wage.
For the first time, eligible frontline employees will also receive free Amazon Prime membership, valued at €69.90 a year.
The fulfilment centre has grown rapidly since opening in 2022. It has created 200 jobs in 2026 alone and now supports more than 700 roles.
Darragh Kelly, regional director for Amazon Logistics in the UK and Ireland, said: “We’re proud that starting pay in Ireland has increased by approximately 27% since 2022, and with the addition of free Prime membership alongside our existing benefits, we’re offering one of the most competitive total compensation packages in the sector.”
Benefits from day one include a company pension plan and flexible shift options, while the Career Choice programme funds 100% of tuition fees for nationally recognised courses.
