Automation key to Britvic’s 3PL renewal

The soft drinks firm has signed a ten year supply chain contract.

WINCANTON IS making a significant investment in automation to increase productivity, capacity, and capability at Britvic’s national distribution centre in Lutterworth, Leicestershire. 

The extended contract will also see Wincanton continue to manage Britvic’s fully automated warehouse facility in Rugby, Warwickshire. Together, the two sites despatch a combined 650,000 cases of Britvic products daily. 

Britvic supply chain director Nigel Paine, said: “We're pleased to continue our long-standing partnership with Wincanton.
