Automotive storage company secures Surrey warehouse
Specialist automotive storage provider Birch has secured a 15 year lease on Prologis’ 124,223 ft2 Brooklands DC1 unit in Weybridge, Surrey.

THE COMPANY will use the BREEAM Excellent and EPC A+ facility as a long-term operational hub as it scales its UK business.
The premium automotive asset management company is recognised for The Birch Standard – a benchmark for secure, intelligent custodianship of high‑value vehicles. Birch provides insurance‑approved “vaults” and white‑glove logistics for private collectors, motorsport teams, OEMs and institutional partners who require assured, end‑to‑end custody.
The expansion to Brooklands DC1 strengthens Birch’s ability to combine world‑class security, bonded storage and meticulously managed operations in a scalable hub, supporting its next phase of UK and international growth.

Brooklands DC1 provides 112,985 ft2 of warehouse space with 12m eaves, 11 dock and two level access doors served by a 50m yard with 19 trailer spaces. As well as with a PV rooftop system, heat pump technology and EV charging infrastructure it also benefits from a 2.5MvA power supply.
The property comes with an enhanced fit-out including the installation of LED lighting and fire alarm systems worth £265,000 in cost savings installed through the developer’s fit out subsidiary Prologis Essentials, which has been appointed to support Birch with fit-out consultancy and operational solutions to meet its bespoke requirements.
