BJS DISTRIBUTION has taken investor developer LCP – part of M Core – 261,912 ft2 Bescot 260 building on Bescot Industrial Estate on a new long term lease.
The unit has 26 electrically operated roller shutter doors with loading on two elevations, LED lighting throughout, a large secure yard, minimum 6m eaves height, and is located just two miles from Junction 9 of the M6 motorway
BJS Distribution Managing Director Harinder Singh said: “This modern, well-connected facility gives us the additional capacity and operational efficiency we need to continue delivering the highest levels of service to our retail partners and their customers across the UK. The size of the unit, the extensive loading provision and the proximity to the motorway network made it the perfect choice for the next stage of our expansion.”
BOX4 Real Estate acted as joint leasing agents with Bulleys on behalf of landlord LCP UK.
BOX4 Real Estate’s Ed Kennerley said: “Bescot 260 quickly attracted strong interest from several occupiers, given its strategic location in the Black Country. The swift take-up of the entire building underscores the quality of the accommodation and the enduring appeal of prime Midlands logistics assets.”
