THE SPECULATIVELY developed property totalling 508,003 ft2 is thought to have been taken on a 10 year lease at a rent in the region of £9.50 per ft2. It boasts 18m eaves as well as 44 dock [with further 4 double height docks] and four level access doors served by a 55m yard with parking for 71 HGVs. It is BREEAM Excellent & EPC A+ rated.
The deal follows Logicor’s recent leasing of Logicor Park Daventry, its 800,000 sq ft development, to supermarket chain Farmfoods on a 25-year lease.
Logicor director, asset management, UK Tom Blakely, said: “The leasing of Derby 507 is testament to occupier demand for large, specialist distribution centres, located in key logistics hotspots. We are delighted to continue supporting our customers by providing modern, highly-sustainable warehouses.”This new letting effectively means that currently there are now no 500,000 ft2 units available in the Midlands.
Joint agents were Apex, Savills and CBRE.
