Chinese e-commerce specialist leases Wolverhampton warehouse

Chinese e-commerce specialist EDa Group taken investor Oxenwood’s refurbished warehouse Citadel 324 in Wolverhampton on the West Midlands.

THE COMPANY is believed to have secured a 10-year lease on the 324,366 ft2 building, which it will use to expand its business in the UK.

The EPC A rated property boasts 12m eaves, 28 dock and four level access doors as well as 1Mva power supply.

EDA Group was established in 2014 and is a technology enterprise specializing in cross-border e-commerce services with an “Internet + Overseas Warehouse” model.

It has some 60+ warehouses totalling more than eight million ft2 across the globe including facilities in the United States, Germany, Canada, Australia, as well as the UK.

Last year it secured a 10-year lease on a 169,000 ft2 warehouse in Halesfield, Shropshire for a rent over the lease period of £8.2 million.
