Classic Football Shirts triples warehouse productivity
Online retailer Classic Football Shirts (CFS) has more than tripled warehouse productivity over five years, using Shipster shipping software and an automated packing system to handle record demand from customers in more than 130 countries.

THE £30m-plus business manages more than one million football shirts and items of memorabilia, with demand surging around major tournaments, product launches and viral moments. Shipster, a Manchester shipping software specialist, has built bespoke shipping processes for CFS, from routing and labelling to its Mystery Box range and international deliveries.
The latest step was integrating a Logopak automated packing and labelling system, which cuts packing times for eligible orders from minutes to seconds.
It was tested during the World Cup, when orders dispatched in June and July rose 101% year on year. Almost two-thirds of orders (64%) were packed automatically during the tournament.
Brandon Evans, outbound operations manager at CFS, said: “Without the automation and flexibility we’ve built into the operation with Shipster, we simply wouldn’t have been able to dispatch anywhere near the volume of orders we achieved and still maintain the speed and service our customers expect.”
