Construction materials company Sika UK takes Yorkshire warehouse
Sika UK has taken a facility at investor developer Cain International’s 660,000 ft2 Sherburn 42 warehouse scheme in North Yorkshire.

THE COMPANY has secured SH280, a 280,000 ft2 facility, which was developed by Firethorn.
It has 263,802 ft2 of warehouse space as well as 16,198 ft2 of two storey offices and welfare space. The warehouse has 15m eaves as wel as 30 dock and four level access doors accessed via a 50m yard that includes 52 HGV parking spaces,. There is separate parking for up to 253 cars with 13 EV charging spaces.
The building was built net zero carbon to achieve a BREEAM Excellent and EPC A rating.
Colliers and Carter Towler were joint letting agents. There are three other units for occupation ranging from 58,171 ft2 to 190,527 ft2.
