Corby logistics scheme given go ahead
A 1.85 million ft2 industrial and logistics development has been granted outline planning on the TATA steelworks site in Corby, Northamptonshire.

Developer WD Westworks, a subsidiary of Warmflame Developments, secured the permission to redevelop the 98 acre brownfield site in July.
Units will be available from 50,000 ft2 to over 1 million ft2 with height to haunch up to 28m. Around 10MvA of power is allocated to the site.
Designed by Newark-based UMC Architect, the scheme is targeting BREEAM Excellent rating, using PV roof panels and a battery energy storage system.
