Culina appoints Fabian Koehler as CEO
Logistics and supply chain group Culina is to appoint deputy chief executive officer Fabian Koehler as its chief executive officer from 1 February 2027, as part of a long-planned succession.

KOEHLER JOINED Culina in November 2024 and has helped shape and deliver the group’s One Culina three-year strategy, which has brought its businesses together under a single identity and simplified its customer proposition.
Current group chief executive officer Liam McElroy will stay with the business as a non-executive director, supporting delivery of its commercial priorities.
The pair will run a structured transition programme between now and February 2027 to ensure continuity for customers and suppliers while the group’s transformation continues.
Koehler said: “Culina is a remarkable business with exceptional people, deep expertise and an unrivalled customer proposition. Liam has played a significant role in positioning the business for future success, and I would like to personally thank him for his leadership.”
McElroy said: “Together, we have delivered a transformational programme that has united our organisation under one identity and created a platform for long-term success. Fabian is exceptionally well placed to lead the next phase of Culina’s journey.”
