THE LANDMARK Hotel which has been closed since 2008 is subject to an application by Property Investment (Development) which will see its demolition and the construction of a 106,354 ft2 warehouse in its place.
The new facility will boast 15m eaves and will consist 95,734 ft of warehouse space with 10 dock and two level access doors. It will be constructed to target BREEAM Very Good and an EPC A rating.
The hotel which sits on a 7.4-acre site was marketed with a price tag of some £7 million in 2019 but failed to find a buyer, owner Property Investment Development (which built the hotel in 1976) is now seeking a change of use and redevelopment.
