DFDS appoints digital chief
DFDS has appointed Sandeep Shahi as chief digital & information officer and a member of its executive management team, succeeding Rune Keldsen.

SHAHI JOINS DFDS from FedEx, where he was chief information officer for Asia Pacific, the Middle East, India and South Africa. He previously held senior technology leadership roles at DHL Group and SAP.
Shahi will join DFDS in November.
In his new role, Shahi will lead DFDS’s Technology & Innovation organisation, overseeing the systems, platforms and digital capabilities that support customers, colleagues and operations across the group’s network.
Michael Hansen, CEO of DFDS, said Shahi’s experience in connecting technology, operations and business priorities would support the group’s focus on serving customers and improving operational performance.
Keldsen is leaving DFDS at the end of September after six years to become chief information officer at Ørsted.
