Easy Truck acquires Quicklift
The Easy Truck Group has acquired Quicklift in a move designed to reinforce its position as one of the Warwickshire’s fastest growing materials handling specialists.
Located in Alcester, Warwickshire, Easy Truck, run by husband and wife team Kevin and Georgina Ryan, are an independent forklift sales and service provider.
During the past 24 months leading up to the acquisition, Easy Truck has achieved 100% organic growth.
The acquisition of Quicklift, who are based nearby in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, fits with Easy Truck’s plans for growth, according to MD, Kevin Ryan. “Quicklift, like Easy Truck, is a family run business with complementary profiles in terms of products, systems and expertise. Service, in particular, is one area we have targeted for growth. Therefore the additional engineering support will enable us to push ahead with those plans.”
Quicklift's John Grady will remain in the business for a period of time as a consultant.
Easy Truck is a provider of brands such as STILL, Cesab, Bendi, Hako and JLG.
