THE NEWS follows on from the company’s decision to ramp up business aiming to deliver four million parcels daily with the recruitment of a further 9,000 employees after private equity firm Apollo Global Management acquired EVRi for £2.7bn in July.
EVRi has taken Trebor Development and Hillwood’s speculatively built 113,573 ft2 warehouse at Central Approach Avonmouth on a 10-year lease.
EVRi was represented by LSH, whom it has retained to source additional locations across London, the South East and the West and East Midlands for short-term Last Mile Delivery Units to meet seasonal business demand.
The requirements are for around 20 "pop-up" units of between 3,000 ft2 to 20,000 ft2 on short term flexible leases and all are required for occupation by September 2024 so they are fully operational over the Christmas peak period.
Trebor/Hillwood were represented by Colliers and CBRE. M1 Agency and Commercial Property Partners advised on the letting of Newhall 130.
