REAL ESTATE investment company Aprirose secured planning consent from Hillingdon Council to develop a £50 million 90,000 ft2 industrial and logistics scheme on the former NCP car park, on the corner of the M4 spur road and Bath Road just 100m from the Heathrow Airport.
The proposed scheme is expected to generate over 200 new jobs, while providing much needed additional capacity for industrial workspace, in a prime and accessible location, adjacent to the airport and in close proximity to the strategic road network. The site, just over 4 acres, was acquired at a price of £16 million in 2017.
Aprirose managing director and CIO Meenal Devani said: “Occupational demand for high quality, sustainable and well-located industrial and logistics workspace in Greater London remains exceptionally strong with supply struggling to keep pace with demand. We are pleased that this green light paves the way for this scheme.”
Work is set to begin before the end of the year and the development will take an estimated 18 months to build.
