Urban Logistics Hubs, which has very close links to cold store operator Magnavale is bringing forward the temperature controlled development which is located on remediated land at Sadel Thames Haven (former Plot E), The Manorway, Coryton.

According to a request for an Environmental Impact Assessment Scoping Opinion submitted to Thurrock Council, a planning application is anticipated to be submitted soon.

It is anticipated that the property would be in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with vehicle movements anticipated throughout this period. It is expected to come forward over period of approximately four years, and subject to planning, could commence Q3 2028 with indicative practical completion by Q1 2032.

Thames Enterprise Park received outline planning permission from Thurrock Council in 2022 to deliver an initial 3.7 million ft2 of space focused on advanced logistics, manufacturing, and next-generation energy technology. The scheme is located at the eastern end of The Manorway (A1014), providing dual-carriageway access to the A13 and Junction 30 of the M25 motorway. It is positioned immediately next to the DP World’s London Gateway. It is projected to create up to 5,500 jobs and add hundreds of millions of pounds annually to the local economy.
