FURTHER TO acquiring Unit 7 totalling  117,076 ft2 which it took on a 10 year lease at a rent of £10.75 per ft, the JD.com subsidiary also known as JINGDONG Logistics, has secured Unit 6 totalling 269,882 ft2 on similar terms to the previous deal last summer.

The move is thought to be in preparation to the launch of JD.com’s online retail offering JoyBuy in March, which Logistics Matters reported on yesterday.

The EPC A and BREEAM Excellent facility has 247,051 ft2 of warehouse space with 27 dock and two level access doors served by a 50m yard. It also has 22,867 ft2 of two storey Grade A offices.

Located adjacent to M6 Junction 2 and M69 Junction 1, the 860,956 Apollo scheme is now all let. Joint agents were JLL, Cushman & Wakefield and Newmark.
