THE AIM Listed company has acquired PineBridge Investments circa 61,000 ft2 EVO60 warehouse on the investor’s circa 330,000 ft2 EVOCorby two-unit industrial and logistics development on Sallow Road.
Likewise Chief Executive Tony Brewer said: “This is another very important step in the development of Likewise Group. With the support of existing and new shareholders, plus appropriate facilities from our principal bankers, creates significant flexibility for the Group to become a meaningfully larger business than we have currently.
Importantly, providing the capacity to all our manufacturing partners and the subsequent service levels to independent retailers and flooring contractors.
Deal completion for the BREEAM Excellent, EPC A+ rated net carbon zero high bay warehouse facility is expected on 21 August 2026 for a total consideration of £9.57 million. The property boasts 54,804 ft2 of warehouse space with 12.5m eaves as well as four dock and two level access doors served by a 40m yard. Joint agents on the scheme were M1 Agency, Tydus Real Estate and CBRE.
The additional Distribution Hub in Corby will significantly increase storage, cutting and trunking capacity through the Likewise Floors Logistics Network when it commences operations in January 2027.
The company reported that its July sales revenue showed a 23.9% increase against the previous year with year-to-date now up 18.3% on a like-for-like basis. “Both order intake and invoicing in August has started strongly, providing the Group with increased impetus as we approach the traditionally busier Autumn trade.”
