Food importer takes Ellesmere Port warehouse
Asian and Oriental foods importer and wholesaler SOP International has taken a 138,612 ft2 warehouse at PLP’s PLP Ellesmere Port scheme in the Northwest.

THE IMPORTER has taken a 15-year lease on EP138 which has a 131,469 ft2 warehouse with 12.5m eaves, 14 dock and four level access doors served by a 50m yard with 28 HGV parking spaces. It also has 7,143ft2 of Grade A offices and has been built carbon net zero with a BREEAM Excellent and EPC A rating.
PLP Ellesmere Port is a two unit scheme totalling 228,000 sq ft. Unit 1 of 90,000 ft2 was leased to Bargain Max, a leading UK games and toys online retailer, in June 2022.
