Forfield alliance to strengthen UK Defence supply chains
UK Defence organisations will get a single route to logistics, procurement, digital and programme management support through Forfield, a new alliance of Kuehne+Nagel, TVS Supply Chain Solutions, Atos and Turner & Townsend.

FORFIELD AIMS to improve the availability of the equipment and materials needed for critical Defence missions, at a time of global uncertainty and growing supply chain complexity. By combining logistics, procurement, digital and programme delivery expertise, the alliance says it will improve visibility and manage operational risk more effectively.
Each partner brings a defined capability. Kuehne+Nagel provides global transport and customs services, while TVS Supply Chain Solutions covers procurement, demand planning and inventory management. Atos supplies secure digital systems and cybersecurity, and Turner & Townsend adds programme management and governance.
Together, the partners have more than 170 years of experience serving defence customers, including the UK Ministry of Defence, and employ more than 14,000 people in the UK. Each holds the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award for its support of the Armed Forces Community.
Aaron Scott, UK managing director at Kuehne+Nagel, says: “Kuehne+Nagel brings its UK and global logistics expertise to ensure critical equipment and materials reach the right place at the right time.”
Roger West, managing director for defence and government at TVS Supply Chain Solutions, says that as demands evolve, organisations “need supply chains that can adapt quickly” and stay resilient in the face of disruption.
