Freight company secures Redditch depot
Avon Freight Group has taken a warehouse at investors manager Cain International’s 451,621 ft2 two-unit Redditch Gateway scheme in the West Midlands.

THE COMPANY which was recently acquired by Irish 3Pl Primeline Logistics has taken Unit 2 which totals 162,409 ft2 in order to support expansion as it scales up operations under Primeline.
Avon Freight Group Managing Director Dawn Green said: “Redditch Gateway offers the scale, connectivity and quality we need to support our continued growth. We’re excited to be part of this development and look forward to scaling our operations as we expand our logistics capabilities under Primeline.”
The company operates three other sites in Birmingham, covering a total of 250,000 ft2 and has over 120 employees, with a significant fleet supporting daily UK and Ireland freight services.
Unit 2 boasts 15m eaves as well as 14 dock and four level access doors served by a 50m yard. IT was built to achieve BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating and is managed by Cain as part of its Blackbrook UK logistics portfolio.
Only one unit remains at the scheme, Unit 1 totaling 289,472 ft2 which is being marketed by DTRE and Newmark.
The scheme is five miles from Junction 3 of the M42
