GXO takes Prologis DIRFT warehouse
GXO has taken a circa.328,000 ft2 warehouse in Daventry in the East Midlands.

THE 3PL has secured a lease on Logistics Matters’ April Shed of the Month DC327, a 327,6879 ft2 facility at Prologis’ 7 million ft2 Prologis RFI DIRFT scheme.
The property boasts a 312,366 ft2 warehouse with 18m eaves, a 750 KvA power provision, as well as 32 dock and five level access doors, served by a 50m yard with 360 degree circulation. There is 9,108 ft2 of two storey office space alongside 5,945 ft2 of two storey hub office and a 270 ft2 gatehouse. It has 79 HGV and 253 car parking spaces.
It is one of a handful of properties which include Prologis latest initiative the Enhanced Fit-Out programme aimed at saving occupiers both time and money by providing smart LED lighting system, a full sprinkler system, fire alarm and full frost protection. According to the marketing brochure for the building the enhanced ft out available would ave 36 weeks and £3.5 million in occupational costs. In addition to that the roof top solar PV provides potential savings of £94,000 a year.
