Hospitality company proposes midbox scheme in Buckinghamshire
Hospitality group Whitbread is proposing a 215,278 ft2 10 unit mid box industrial and logistics scheme in five buildings on land it owns in Denham, South Buckinghamshire just off Junction 1 of the M40 motorway.

THE SITE fully complies with the grey belt tests and aligns with national planning policy by helping to meet an identified unmet need for I&L floorspace.
In consultation documents, Whitbread said that the scheme will address the shortfall of warehousing and distribution space for small and medium-sized businesses in South Buckinghamshire.
“The proposed development will offer up to 20,000 sqm of new floorspace split across multiple units. The size of these units particularly suits the needs of small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) which make up 98% of the businesses in Buckinghamshire.
These units will be designed to provide high-quality floorspace (BREEAM Excellent and EPC A+) suitable for SMEs, something that’s in significant demand with only around 2-3% of existing smaller units in Buckinghamshire considered good quality.
The consultation process runs from 10 to 23 September ahead of a planning submission later this year.
