THE PROPOSAL is for the demolition of the existing buildings and building of two new Grade A warehouses totalling 230,870 ft2 on the 11.2 acre site on Viables Industrial Estate to the south of Basingstoke just off the M3 motorway.
There will be a larger 161,000 ft2 unit known as B161 and a smaller unit of 69,460 ft2 known as B42. B161 will have 13 dock and four level access doors and B42 four level access doors. Both buildings will target BREEAM Excellent and a n EPC A rating.
The scheme abuts a three unit mid box development built by St Modwen last year, now known as Indurent Park Basingstoke. There is another adjacent site to the north-west of the application site is a new three unit industrial scheme by Panattoni: V Park Basngstoke.
