Indurent to build mega warehouse in Rochdale
Indurent has opted for a single mega warehouse on its 26.4-acre plot at Heywood Distribution Park in Rochdale in the Northwest.

HAVING SECURED outline consent for a 505,000 ft2 plus or a two unit scheme of smaller facilities, in May this year, as reported in Logistics Matters, the investor developer has gone with a detailed planning submission for a 498,000 ft2 warehouse.
The proposals envisage a property with 469,110 ft2 of warehouse space with 40 dock (incl 2 Euro dock) and four level access doors with 18m eaves clear to haunch, served by a 50m+ yard with 67 HGV parking spaces with a 3274 ft2 hub office and 262 ft2 gatehouse.
There will be 23,532 ft2 of two storey Grade A offices with 11,995 ft2 amenity deck.
Designed by UMC Architects, the building will be built carbon net zero and is targetting a BREEAM Excellent and EPC A +rating with a base 5MVA power supply and infrastructure in place to upgrade to over 10MVA. Once operational, the new unit is expected to support over 500 jobs
locations, like the North West.”
Subject to planning approval later this summer, construction is expected to begin in late 2025, with completion anticipated by the end of 2026.
