Industrial deal for Slough Trading Estate
Developer SEGRO has agreed to lease a 20,210 ft2 state-of-the-art unit on its Slough Trading Estate in the Southeast to specialist data centre server installer and land transport cargo handling compnay ATC.

THE COMPANY, an exisiting SEGRO customer – has secured a 10-year lease on the recently refurbished property to support Europe’s largest data centre cluster.
The unit which boasts 5.2m eaves and has 16,096 ft2 of warehsoue space as well as 1,886 ft2 of mezzanine store and 3,302 ft 2 of Grade A office space meets BREEAM Excellent and net-zero carbon in operation standards.
The building now includes Smart building sensors to enable energy-efficient operation of the buildingPhotovoltaic panels on the roof Energy efficient LED lighting throughout as well as a 55m² living wall on the front of the building will trap 7,150 grams of dust, extract 126.5 kg of gas and 71.5 kg of particulate matter from the air, and produce around 93.5 kg of oxygen every year
The quoting rent for the property was circa £33 per ft2 (according to marketing information).
