Japanese coffee company takes Milton Keynes warehouse HQ

Japanese total coffee solution brand Ueshima Coffee Company has taken a new facility in at Linford Wood, Milton Keynes for its new UK headquarters and national distribution centre.

THE MILTON Keynes Development Partnership (MKDP) secured the landmark deal which will see the coffee company, known for premium coffee, Ueshima, private label and portfolio of coffee machines, move into a new 44,523 ft2 facility designed to support growth and innovation. The space is split between office space and a high-spec warehouse, with scope for future expansion.

Currently based in Tilbrook, UCC employs 169 people in Milton Keynes and will relocate to Linford Wood under a long lease, believed to be 20 years, that includes potential for expansion on adjacent land. The transaction was facilitated by Kirkby Diamond (now part of Eddisons), demonstrating strong collaboration with MKDP to retain a global business in Milton Keynes.

MKDP Property Development Director Matthew Green, said: “Securing UCC’s headquarters in the city is a significant achievement for Milton Keynes. This strategic move reinforces Milton Keynes’ position as a thriving hub for international businesses and innovation.”

Ueshima Coffee Company to move its UK headquarters to Linford Wood in Milton Keynes from Tilbrook, Cambridgeshire.

The Japanese coffee brand has signed a 20-year lease with the landlord of the building, MKDP, to take occupancy of 44,523 sq ft, split between an office and a warehouse. The facility has been designed to support growth, with potential for expansion on adjacent land.
