THE DEAL involves the letting of two units on an initial five year lease totalling 5531,519 ft2. The company, which was an underbidder for EVRI in 2024 before it sold for £2bn to Apollo and before its merger with DHL this week, intends to set up its own delivery network in the UK.
As well as the two units MK310 and MK 220 at PLP MK, JD.com has taken units in Dunstable (Owenwood’s OXW277) and Coventry.
The newest deal was sorted in short order within weeks of the requirement going live. Its is understood that the decision to expedite the requirement so quickly was due to the effects of President Trump’s Tarriffs.
Joint letting agents PLP MK are Cushman & Wakefield and Savills.
