The leader in over-the-counter products and prescription medicine has announced a strategic partnership with Yusen Logistics (UK) to strengthen its supply chain and accelerate its growth strategy.

THE PARTNERSHIP aligns with Karo Healthcare’s ambitions to build a fast-growing, pan-European consumer healthcare portfolio. To achieve these goals, Karo sought a 3PL provider with a scalable operating platform capable of optimising efficiency across its supply chain.

Yusen Logistics (UK), based in Northampton, will support Karo Healthcare in this endeavour by offering dynamic planning and value-added services. Through its Good Distribution Practice (GDP) compliant EU road network, as well as comprehensive ocean and air freight solutions, Yusen Logistics will help streamline the distribution of Karo’s products, making them more easily accessible to consumers.

Yusen Logistics healthcare and global key account director James Colson (pictured), says: “Yusen Logistics’ GDP-compliant services are designed to meet the specialised needs of the healthcare industry, ensuring that high-quality products are delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner.”

Karo Healthcare senior sourcing manager Jens Lamberth, adds: “Partnering with Yusen Logistics allows us to leverage their extensive logistics expertise and robust infrastructure, enabling us to deliver on our growth strategy while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and service.”
