Tomorrow’s Warehouse Manchester brings two seminar theatres and more than 70 exhibitors to Emirates Old Trafford.

Time is running out to secure a free place at Tomorrow's Warehouse Manchester, which brings two seminar theatres and more than 70 exhibitors to Emirates Old Trafford this Wednesday (30 September).

THE FREE-TO-ATTEND conference and exhibition offers warehouse and logistics managers a full day of practical insight, split between an operations theatre and a warehouse property theatre.

In the operations theatre, Tim Bolam, VP project delivery at DHL Supply Chain, draws on the Estée Lauder deployment to show how to make WMS projects deliver without a risky big-bang replacement. Danielle Taylor, logistics manager at Speedy Hire, will explain how sites can switch between night-time sortation and daytime roll-cage operations while still hitting on-time, in-full targets.

Arvato’s Stuart Hands and Maria Rowbotham reveal how the 3PL is reinvigorating a brownfield site in Corby as part of its 2030 strategy. Headline sponsor Element Logic will explore why software is the real engine behind modern warehouse automation.

After lunch, Weightmans stages an interactive mock Traffic Commissioner’s public inquiry. The afternoon closes with former Tesco supply chain leader Dan Culverhouse, now founder of Fraction Flow, on the hidden cost of silo thinking between warehouse and transport.

In the property theatre, Jason Rockett, managing director of Potter Space, presents findings from the latest Big Things in Small Boxes report, produced with Savills. Tom Ryan of OrchardStreet Investment Management explains why refurbishment is becoming a smarter option than redevelopment. Later sessions cover rising energy costs and biodiversity net gain on brownfield sites.

Each session block ends with a panel Q&A, so attendees can put their own operational challenges to the speakers.
