Luxury shoemaker opens state of the art DC

Luxury shoe and fashion accessories company Russell & Bromley has opened a state of the art distribution centre in Corby.

THE WELL established designer footwear company pre-let Hortons’ 58,350 ft2 Saxon 58 warehouse in Corby prior to a comprehensive refurbishment that included a range of sustainability features.

The facility which has an EPC A+ rating, now has 8m eaves, three dock and two level access doors 500KvA power as well as a PV array, EV charging and LED lighting throughout.

In a LinkedIn Post announcing the opening of the state-of-the-art distribution centre, Russel & Bromley said: “This facility will significantly enhance our logistics operations, enabling us to better serve our customers, meet growing demand, and support our continued expansion.”

Saxon Park in situated on the Oakley Hay Industrial Estate, positioned approximately 4 miles south west of Corby and was acquired by Hortons in 2023.
